Tenielle have always had an interest in modelling and working in the fashion industry. As a result, she pursued her education in fashion design achieving dual Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees in Fashion Design with a minor in Menswear Tailoring and Fashion Marketing and Management. Tenielle’s platform is “Women Empowerment: Promoting Body Positivity”. Her goal is to encourage every woman to comfortable, confident, and accepting of who she is through embracing the value of her beauty and ensuring she knows that her worth goes beyond skin deep.
Rejean describes herself as tenacious, enthusiastic and creative. This Nursing Major with a Minor in Business Management is an emerging entrepreneur. She is a needle point handbag designer for Ré Sincere and donates 10% of her profits from each purchased bag to a charity organization. Rejean also volunteers at neighborhood crime watch facilities and homes for the less fortunate.
In 2017, Rejean was crowned Miss Bahamas Grand International. As MBGI, she had the opportunity to speak passionately across platforms to countries as far as Vietnam and hopes to continue inspiring others to be authentic in who they are and to harness the gifts that they are given.

Shakera is proud to represent the beautiful land of freedom, Eleuthera. She has fond memories of her breaks spent there and completed senior high at Preston Albury High School in Rock Sound. She is a certified holistic health coach. Shakera has used this certification to create a vegan catering company called What Ve’Gan Eat, which inspired her to create the platform “Variety is the Spice of Life: What Ve’gan Eat”. Using her platform, she intends to change the way people view veganism and enlighten them of its many benefits.
Michelle is passionate about the arts and has an extensive classical background and training in ballet, painting, classical music and theatre. Additionally, Michelle is a professional runway model with Choice Model Management and is a mentor for the Leading Lady Organization, where she educates young women to discover how to love, respect and value themselves. She takes great pride in her love of giving back to the community and to the less fortunate, as she was taught by her mother to always have an open hand that’s willing to give and not just will to receive.
Esther best describes herself as a risk taker, a positive and respectable person. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and is pursuing a merit in the field of massage therapy. Esther would like to use her profession as a nurse to help raise awareness on the ‘silent killer’ called hypertension. As many of her relatives are suffering from this condition. Unfortunately, her grandmother who raised her, succumbed to complications of high blood pressure. Her goal is to not only encourage you but to give you options towards a healthier you!
Natalya was raised in Conch Sound, Andros and is currently pursuing her medical degree. During the course of her scholastic journey, she had the opportunity to live amongst an array of cultures globally; including the United States, Spain and Greek Cyprus. Her platform is called “Molding Modern Miss”, which encourages the transformation of adolescent ladies into confident women. She aims to inspire young women to achieve their aspirations beyond the scope of industry and societal boundaries.
From tom boy to pageant girl, Roxan entered her first pageant - Miss St Thomas More in 2006. At 14 years old she moved to New York City, which curated her love for art and design and later moved to Toronto, Canada to make her dreams a reality. There she pursued her tertiary studies in Digital Marketing and Art Design. Since then she has taken on the titles: Art Director, Web Designer, Set Director, On Air Personality, Media Host, Marketing Director... but never Beauty Queen. Roxan aims to break barriers and prove that women can be multifaceted and confidentially beautiful.
Tarea is the eldest of two children and takes pride in her relationship with her family, especially her younger brother, Brandon. She is a professional model with Choice Model Management and loves strutting the catwalk and “smizing” during photoshoots. However, there is more to Tarea than meets the eye. Tarea holds two college degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Marketing. Tara’s platform is Dementia Awareness. She looks to her favourite Bible text, “As a man thinketh, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7), as she faces her biggest challenge yet, Miss Bahamas Universe.
Nyisha is a certified Child Life Coach and is a nationally certified youth leader in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. This children’s advocate holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and hopes to pursue a master’s in public administration.
